نام یکی از نزدیکترین شهرها به محل سد در این نقشه خان بالغ است. لازم به ذکر است که خان بالغ نام کلی پایتخت مغولان بوده است و در برهه های مختلف تاریخ، به مکان های مختلفی اطلاق میشده است. | |||
در این نقشه ذکر شده که ذوالقرنین در کوهستانهایی که سد در آن بنا شده است، درختان بلندی را دید که سرشان به ابرها می رسید. لازم به ذکر است بلندترین درخت جهان سکویا است که از آلاسکا تا کالیفرنیا یافت می شود. | |||
